Ingredients
Cauliflower:
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. Hungarian paprika
Farmer’s Cheese Dipping Sauce:
- 4 tbsp. sour cream
- 4 tbsp. farmer’s cheese (twaróg)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. fresh chopped dill
Directions
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
Cut cauliflower up into small florets.
In a large pan, heat sunflower oil on medium-high heat. Once hot, put an even layer of cauliflower florets on the pan, making sure each is touching the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden on the bottom, and then flip over and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove the florets, and sprinkle with desired amount of seasoning mix. Place on a cooling rack or colander so that the oil can drain.
Repeat until all florets that been cooked.
To make the dip, mix together sour cream, farmer’s cheese, salt, parsley and dill in a bowl until evenly distributed. If you cannot find farmer’s cheese, use feta cheese and do not add salt.
